My business ventures Many and varied is the best way to describe this section! I'm adding to the site as I go... My main concern was www.DonPhone.com - an outlet for telephone numbers, this was also linked to www.the0870.com and a few other domain names, all designed to bring business in. Sadly the numbers did not worked out as anticipated and the 0870 range has now been changed by OfCom. The sites I ran are all closed, the domains have expired but it seems a few people had no idea that 0870 was on it's way out as they seem to think I should still be providing the service. Sorry folks, if you've found this site through a Google search, I can tell you that ALL 0870, 0871 and 09* numbers previously set up by DonPhone or one of the associated sites were disconnected in August 2009, when the changes took place. An 0870 number would now cost £10 +VAT each month to retain, plus the cost of all calls at about 3p a minute - that YOU have to pay to receive. I was not in a position to offer credit facilities, hence closing down. I also ran www.donweb.co.uk - set up to handle web design work. Again, it's there as a marker but does very little. I've had a few personal sites kicking about,
most of which are now deleted. |
